New Delhi: Punjab Technical University has begun the application process for the B.Tech programme for the academic session 2022-23. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, @ptu.ac.in.
IK Gujral Punjab Technical University, (IKGPTU) Jalandhar, offers a gamut of UG and PG courses in various specialisations. Candidates seeking admission to the B.Tech programme can submit their applications till August 22, 2022.
The university authorities will conduct two rounds for B.Tech admission depending up on 10+2 scores. The B.tech admission 2022 will be done on the basis of both JEE Main scores and the class 12 examination.

Punjab Technical University B.Tech Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates seeking admissions to the B.Tech programme will have to meet the eligibility criteria of Punjab B.Tech admission 2022
- Candidates will not be eligible for final seat allotment if they do not fulfil the minimum eligibility standards of Punjab B.Tech.
- Candidates applying through JEE Main must have qualified the exam in order to be eligible for the admission process.
- Candidates must have studied Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects during their 10+2. Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Biotechnology/ Biology should have been studied as optional subjects.
Punjab Technical University B.Tech Admission 2022: Selection Process
- Candidate's selection to B.Tech programme is done on the basis of JEE Main entrance exam and the counselling process.
- The B.Tech counselling process includes online registration, fee payment, rank card, seat allotment, choice filling. The candidates can participate in the centralised counselling by paying a non-refundable fee.
Punjab Technical University B.Tech Admission 2022: How to Apply?
Step 1: Visit the official application portal of Punjab Technical University @ptu.ac.in.
Step 2: Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.
Step 3: Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.
Step 4: Pay the application fee of INR 2000 and submit the Application form.
Step 5: Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.

Punjab Technical University B.Tech Admission 2022: Counselling & Seat Allotment
The university will release the result of seat allotment separately for JEE Main qualified candidates and 10+2 candidates.
Post the application process, the B.Tech seat allotment result for round 1 will be released and the seat allotment result for counselling of JEE Main qualified candidates and 10+2 qualified candidates will be released on the official website
Candidates who will be allotted seats will have to report to the allotted institutes for fee payment and document verification to complete Punjab B.Tech counselling process.
