How the Admission Rounds Work

SAMS UG 2026 admissions run through two merit-based selection rounds. A Waiting List and Spot Admission follow if seats remain vacant. Each round follows a fixed sequence of selection, fee payment, and college reporting.

The First Round merit list releases on June 17, 2026 at 2:00 PM. Selected candidates must pay fees and lock their college choice by June 20. Reporting at the allotted college must also be completed by June 20, 2026.

Students not selected in Round 1 remain eligible for the Second Round. The Second Round list releases on June 29, 2026 at 2:00 PM. Fee payment and college reporting for this round close on July 4, 2026.

Candidates who miss both rounds can submit Waiting List preferences from July 8 to 10. The Waiting List merit list publishes on July 14, 2026. Spot admission for remaining seats is scheduled for July 17, 2026.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

Candidates who have passed Class 12 from a recognised board are eligible. They can apply for BA, BSc, and BCom programmes at participating Odisha degree colleges.
