National Rail and Transportation Institute (NRTI), Vadodara has recently launched 7 new undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The newly introduced programs are highly interdisciplinary and application-oriented.
National Rail and Transportation Institute (NRTI), Vadodara has introduced 2 courses in Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) program, 2 in Masters of Business Administration (MBA), and 3 in Master of Science (M.Sc.) programs.
The new courses offered by NRTI are not being provided by any other Institute across India. Hence, the content in the programs is very unique.

The newly introduced MSc. Program at NRTI is offered in association with the University of Birmingham, UK. The exceptional course introduced is highly promising and will provide international exposure to the students.
Chairman and CEO of Railway Board VK Yadav, during the launch of new programs, said that NRTI has introduced an interdisciplinary approach for research of transport systems which has many benefits.
VK Yadav further added that this approach will bring academicians, scientists, and engineers from various backgrounds to the same platform. Also, the institute is planning to leverage its academic and industry partnerships and collaborations.
According to the Chairman of Railway Board VK Yadav, NRTI newly introduced course will offer project-based learning at Railway establishments. Apart from that, it will aspire to develop the following set of core values:

Indian Railways will play a major role in implementing the key features of the B.Tech program. It will provide an experimental learning laboratory for the students. In addition to that, it will also initiate faculty development.
According to VK Yadav, a highly experiential and application-based learning approach will create a distinct character of the National Rail and Transportation Institute (NRTI), Vadodara.
