To bridge the gap between Law and Business Management, a new generation program MBA (Law) has been introduced by the School of Business Management, NMIMS.
The MBA (Law) program is introduced by NMIMS in collaboration with the School of Law.
MBA (Law) comes under the purview of School of Business Management of NMIMS. SBM offers the best management education in the country. A dynamic curriculum designed with academics and industry practitioners provide individuals the opportunity to master new skills.
MBA (Law) will be a 2 year program, with 6 Trimesters in the course structure. The total seat capacity will be 40 seats in the course. There are a total 38 courses, out of which 16 are Law related and 22 are Management based.
NMIMS is one of the top ranked B-schools in India for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs. It was started in 1981 by Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal (SVKM) to accomplish the demand for management education.
NMIMS was declared a deemed university in 2003. It has emerged as a multi-disciplinary, multi campus University with 17,000+ students and 750+ full time faculty members.
The objectives of MBA (Law) program are as follows:
- Skill development related to management and administration
- Analysis of business data, multimodal communication, etc
- Apply legal knowledge from the perspective of business needs gain in skill sets in the grounds of laying down legal briefs, policy documents, standard operating and monitoring procedures for execution of business decisions, etc.
