New Delhi: Medical Counseling Committee, MCC, has issued a significant announcement on the extension of the stray vacancy cycle. Medical Counseling Committee has altered the dates for the NEET UG 2022 counselling rounds for stray vacancy vacancies. 

The updated schedule has been posted on the official portal mcc.nic.in. The PDF of the highlights and schedule may be viewed here. The letter adds that the round for filling stray vacancies is being extended because many states' mop-up rounds were delayed. This has been done to avoid a date conflict between the stray round and the mop-up round. 

NEET UG Counselling 2022 Stary Round: Details of the opt-out option

The official announcement further states that applicants who choose to withdraw from consideration because they do not wish to take part in any further rounds of consideration must do so by December 20, 2022. 

Following the opt-out window's end, seat distribution will take place on December 21 and December 22, 2022. A display of the outcome will take place on December 23, 2022. Students will have between December 24 and December 28, 2022, to report to the designated college.

NEET UG Counselling 2022 Stary Round: How to Check?

Step 1: Visit the official Website mcc.nic.in 

Step 2: Select neet ug counselling from the homepage.

Step 3: Find the news and events section on the page that was redirected.

Step 4: Select the "Notice for the Stray Vacancy Round Schedule" link, the PDF file will display on the screen.

According to the official announcement, individuals who decide they do not want to take part in the Stray Vacancy Round of Undergraduate Counseling 2022, which will be held by MCC, can log into their account and use the "OPT OUT" option on the MCC website to avoid losing their security deposit. 

The Information Bulletin states that the applicants who participate in the stray vacancy round will be allocated seats based on their performance and the decisions they made during the Mop-up round of UG Counseling 2022. Candidates can visit the MCC's official website at mcc.nic.in for further information.
