NEET 2021: The Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal is going to declare the schedule for CBSE 2021 Board Examination for classes 10 and 12 students on December 31, at 6:00 pm. This declaration prompted the students to appeal to the education minister to postpone the examinations to compensate for the time lost due to the imposed COVID-19 lockdown and lack of online classes.
Meanwhile, the NEET 2021 aspirants have also requested the education minister for clarity of the MBBS entrance exam schedule.

On December 17, Mr. Pokhriyal had informed that there are no plans to cancel the NEET 2021. The aspirants of NEET 2021 are requesting to conduct the exam two times a year and they also wanted a reduction in the NEET 2021 syllabus.
One of the NEET 2021 aspirants stated that in the prevailing situations due to COVID-19, the students were not able to attend regular classes, and the aspirant requested to decrease their syllabus. He further requested to conduct NEET 2021 at least twice a year.

One of the NEET 2021 aspirants requested to postpone the NEET 2021 Exam to August or September and said that it is an injustice to the NEET candidates as the JEE Main students have been provided with four attempts and an additional two months time.
Another parent of a NEET 2021 aspirant stated that there was no need to reduce the syllabus but requested the government for multiple attempts. Some candidates were requesting the official schedule, whereas, some expressed their revulsion regarding the injustice with the medical aspirants in comparison with the multiple attempts given to JEE aspirants.
The JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) 2021 will be conducted in four phases in February, March, April, and May. The dates for the February session examination is from February 22 - 25, 2021.
