The Karnataka government will conduct a final vacancy round for the Karnataka UGCET 2020 to fill the seats which were not reported after the completion of the extended Round 2 seat allotment.
The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will release the official notification with the schedule of the final vacancy round on its official website @kea.kar.nic.in.
The decision came after the last date of admission for professional courses was extended by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to January 15th, 2021. The examination authority is also expected to release the eligibility criteria soon.

According to the official release, the KEA has also provided an option for students to reconsider or cancel their seats allotted in the extended Round 2 of the KCET 2020. The candidates have to pay INR 5,000 through demand draft as a penalty to cancel their seat from January 6 to 8, 5.30 PM.
Candidates can also surrender their seats after the final vacancy round by paying a penalty amount of five times the fees along with the fees of first-year.
The dates of second and final seat allotment have also been announced for Karnataka PGCET 2020. Applicants will not be allowed to cancel their seats after the second and final round of seat allotment process.
