Applicants who have qualified JEE Main and JEE Advanced are only allowed to appear in the JosAA 2020 seat allotment and counselling process.
This year, the JoSAA admission process has been slightly modified and will involve six rounds of allotment instead of the usual seven to make up for the loss of time due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The entire counselling, seat assignment and admission process and related formalities will be online this year.
Last year, the candidates had to complete all of these processes by showing up at the reporting centres.
The registration process for JoSAA 2020 is mandatory for any qualified candidate interested in joining any of the IITs, NITs, IIITs and Other-GFTIs (within the jurisdiction of JoSAA-2020).
