Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2020 has released the counseling schedule for JEE Main and Advanced categories. As per the notification released, the counseling will be done in 7 rounds.

Candidates participating in the JoSAA 2020 Counselling are required to register at josaa.nic.in, before the last date of registration. The registration and choice filling process for admission into the IITs, NITs, IIITs, and Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs) will commence from October 6, 2020.

JoSAA 2020 Registration and Choice Filling Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who meet the following eligibility criteria mentioned below are only eligible to take part in JoSAA 2020 Registration and Choice filling procedure

Criterion 1:

  • Candidate must be qualified in JEE Advanced 2020 for academic programs excluding the preparatory courses at IIT
  • They should have completed Class 12 from a recognized board in the relevant stream

Criterion 2:

  • Candidate must be qualified in JEE (Advanced) 2020 for preparatory courses at IITs.
  • They should have completed Class 12 from a recognized board in the relevant stream.

Criterion 3:

  • Candidate must have secured a rank in JEE Main 2020 Paper-1 for B.E./B.Tech programs at NITs, IIEST, IIITs and Other-GFTIs.
  • They should have completed Class 12 from a recognized board in the relevant stream

Criterion 4:

  • Candidate must have secured a rank in JEE (Main) 2020 Paper-2 for B.Arch./ B. Planning programs at NITs, IIEST, IIITs and Other-GFTIs
  • Candidate must have passed Class 12 with Mathematics as a subject.

  • Visit the official website of JoSAA, josaa.nic.in
  • Click on the JoSAA SAA 2020 Candidate Registration and Choice Filling option on the homepage
  • Enter the required details for registration: Gender, State Code, Eligibility, Nationality, Contact Details
  • Login with username and password
  • Fill your choices as per your preference

JoSAA 2020 Registration and Choice Filling Mock Round

Candidates will be given 10 days window by the JoSAA authority to fill in their choices. The window is not extended beyond 10 days and is held in 2 rounds.

Candidates must ensure that they have filled their best choices.  For the JoSAA choice filling, candidates can choose as many programs as possible.
