A survey was conducted for the JNU Entrance Exam 2020 amid the Pandemic situation. The survey includes the student's reaction to the entrance exam and the analysis of the same.

The Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Exam (JNUEE) was conducted from October 5 to October 8, 2020. The national-level entrance exam was organized by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

During the Pandemic situation across the globe, the JNUEE 2020 aspirants were directed to appear for the test in Offline mode. More than 2 Lakh students appeared for the exam held in 358 exam centers in 121 cities.

Candidates were to submit an undertaking which mentioned that the students were not suffering from any symptoms related to Covid-19, before downloading the JNUEE Admit card

Exam centers did a full screening through every student outside the Exam center. Digital thermometer guns and 3-fold masks were given to the students before entering the exam center.

Social Distancing guidelines were thoroughly followed by the Exam Committee both inside and outside the premises of Exam Centers. Only 100 students were allowed to present at a time in all the exam centers.

The JNU officials made sure that the exam hall and the premises were sanitized and cleaned on a timely basis. Regular supply of Hand-Sanitizer was ensured throughout the process.

Student’s Responses on JNUEE 2020

The students made sure that they maintained social distancing both inside and outside the premises of Exam centers. Hand Sanitizer was used regularly at all the time and Students wore face masks profoundly.

Many students found the question paper simple and easy. Some students found that a few questions came out of context and were tricky to answer.

The duration of the exam justified the questions mentioned in the paper. Students completed their exam on time and found many questions were from NCERT Books, Indian Politics and current affairs.

JNUEE 2020 Survey

The survey was conducted on the students appearing for MA Political Science. The majority of students found it easy and simple. The question paper was made on the basis of current affairs and Indian Politics.

Questions were formatted in MCQs and the entrance exam was conducted in CBT mode. It took 3 hours to complete the test.
