Previously, Subramanyam Swami raised a concern and wrote a letter to the ministry about the difficulties of students and parents to reach the exam centre. He mentions with the example of Mumbai city where candidates will have to commute for 20-30 km to attend the exam in a condition when no public transport is available. He states that this situation can lead to big desperation and distress among the youth.

Subramanyam Swami concluded his letter stating, Government can overrule the Supreme Court decision under such adverse condition, and schedule the exam after Deepavali. However, the Ministry of Education, within a couple of hours responded that the exam will be conducted as scheduled in September ignoring, Subramanyam Swami’s concerns.

JEE Main 2020 Scheduled to be conducted from September 01 – 06, 2020, while NEET 2020 will be conducted on September 13, 2020. The National Level exams are very crucial for students career and therefore Government is not in a state of postponing the exams.
