Indian Maritime University (IMU) has started the registration process for counselling of M.Tech courses. Applicants who are interested to apply can do so by visiting the official website of the institute; imu.edu.in.

Following the registration for the counselling 2 admission lists will be released by IMU. It is to be noted that only the candidates who are named in the list will be eligible to take admission to the institute. Admissions to the M.Tech programmes in IMU are made on the basis of the score in IMU CET.

IMU CET 2020 M.Tech Counselling: Steps to Register for the Counselling

IMU conducts the counselling for M.tech programmes in phases. To put forward their candidature for admission, the applicant will need to register for counselling. Candidates can do so by following the given steps.

Step 1: Visit the official website; imu.edu.in

Step 2: On the homepage itself, you will find the option for M.tech Counselling Registration

Step 3: On selecting it, a new window will open. On the new page, under UG and PG admissions, you will find the link for registration at the bottom of the page

Step 4: Now, log in using your credentials and login

Step 5: Now select your choices in order of preference

Step 6: Make a payment of INR 10000 towards counselling fee and take a print out

IMU CET 2020 M.Tech Counselling: Seat Allotment and Verification

Once the applicant is allotted the seat, the candidate will need to pay INR 25000 to confirm the acceptance of the seat. After that, the applicant will be issued a provisional letter.

Following that the candidate will need to appear for verification of certificates. The candidate will need to bring his original mark sheets, physical fitness certificate, and other documents at the time of verification.

After the document verification is done, the candidate will be required to pay the semester fee and the caution deposit. 

Candidates who have applied for up-graduation and paid the seat acceptance fee of INR 25000, will not be required to pay the fee once again.
