A start-up launched by three undergraduate students of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Guwahati has developed a mobile application to supply safe and contactless aviation to passengers during COVID-19 crisis.
Named ‘Flyzy’, the main focus of the application is to supply contactless boarding, easier baggage drop, manageable parking, good shopping experience and providing necessary updates during the entire journey.

The team includes Deepak Meena, a third-year BTech student, Department of Chemistry; Hansraj Patel, third-year BTech student, Department of Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Guwahati and Arjit Singh, fourth-year BTech student, Department of Electrical Engineering, JMIT.

Easy availability of smartphones among allows them to to the thought of a mobile application based software among the three. The software has been designed to deal with the necessity of the travellers during COVID- 19.

It'll also work when things become normal. The software, a hybrid one, will support face-biometric recognition.

Features of Flyzy

Especially beneficial for first-time fliers, the appliance will enable easy understanding and implementation of several airport functions. the appliance which has an assistant will help the elderly use the app easily. Passengers also can shop using the appliance which supports multi-currency payments. The app also can suggest a passenger the simplest food option he can choose between supported the status of the flight. 

The app will be available in the Android and IOS platforms.
