IIIT Lucknow has launched an MBA course in Digital Business. A two-year course, it has been tailored in accordance with the National Education Policy 2020. The course will allow candidates to exit the course after a year or complete the course after a year’s break.
The application window was opened by IIIT Lucknow on 21 August; the last date of submission of the application form is 20 September.
The director of the institute said that IIIT Lucknow was the first institute in India to offer such a course, which is offered mainly by certain academic institutes of Europe. “After pursuing the course a student can start his or her own online business venture or can take up various roles related to digital business in corporate sectors,” the director said.

The course will cover concepts such as artificial intelligence and cloud computing along with traditional business management.
The course will be offered in both online and offline mode. The offline mode will be started once the pandemic subsides. The candidates will be admitted on the basis of merit and personal interviews.
