Goa College of Architecture will be conducting the fifth year B.Architecture examinations from July 1, 2020. However the Goa University also stated that no exams will be conducted for the first to fourth year B.Arch students.
The marks of the final year students will be submitted to the examination division for processing the result. Attendance will not be an eligibility criteria for the exams, as stated by the university.
YV Redyy, Goa University Registrar said that the final year B.Arch exams and any repeat exams will be conducted from July 1, 2020 by the Goa College of Architecture and the students will be evaluated on the basis of sessional assessment grades.
The university also declared that final year viva will be conducted with an external examiner in July 2020 and no student will be detained in the viva. The students will also be provided more opportunities to clear the exams and also improve their grades.
UGC has released guidelines for all the universities and colleges to conduct the end semester exams from July 2020. A tentative academic calendar has also been provided according to which the classes will begin from August 2020, whereas the classes for newly admitted students will commence from September 1, 2020.
