Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Union Education Minister, has hinted at reconsideration of the syllabus for NEET 2021 and JEE Main 2021 examination, among other related things.
During the high-level meeting held to review the situation, Education Minister informed that he has directed the National Testing Agency, NTA, to evaluate the current situation and provide a revised syllabus for the several competitive examinations, including NEET 2021 and JEE Main 2021.
Additionally, for the 2021 board exam dates, he ensured that suggestions and feedback would be taken from students, teachers, and parents on how and when to hold the exams next year.
Pokhriyal wrote on his social media handle, “A campaign will be launched by eduminofindia (Education Ministry of India) to seek views from students, parents & teachers on how & when to conduct the exams next year.”
The Education Minister asked the University Grants Commission to provide scholarships, fellowships in time. A helpline would also operate for the same.

Apart from this, the meeting discusses the rising concerns over the next year exams. With the competitive examination cycle hardly concluded for 2020, the worry for the next year’s competitive exams has begun to create speculations.
Moreover, due to schools shut from the commencement of the academic session, many students have been left to study completely by themselves.
Over Lakh of students have been worst affected who do not have access to online educational tools. Under these situations, the notification of a possibility of reconsidering the syllabus of various competitive exams provides relief to many students.
