Delhi University is all set to start the online admission process from October 12, 10 am onwards. The cut-off list was published on October 10, 2020. Students got the time to choose their choice of college over the weekend.
Dean of Student Welfare, Delhi University, Mr. Rajeev Gupta in a webinar conducted on October 9, 2020, declared that the admission procedure will be completely online due to the current pandemic situation.
Candidates are strictly not allowed to enter any college premises for any purposes, due to COVID-19 restriction. The entire admission process will be done only via a web-based interface.

DU Admission 2020: How to Apply?
Step 1: Visit the official website i.e. ug.du.sc.in of DU
Step 2: Log-in to your candidate’s profile using the Registration ID and Password to log-in
Step 3: Check your cut-off and details from the link
Step 4: Select a specific name of the college or specific course as per your choice
Step 5: Tally the eligibility criteria and cut-off of the course or college with you
Step 6: Fix the course or college and get a Reference Number
Step 7: Check the information you shared using that reference number
Step 8: Check for any additional requirement as mentioned by the college over an email sent to you
Step 9: Verify your documents
Step 10: Upon successful verification, get the ‘Approved by Principal’ status on your virtual form
Step 11: If you wish to continue, pay the fee, and lock your seat. In case you do not wish to proceed further, withdraw your application
Step 12: If you wish to reapply to any other college and course, withdraw your current application by paying an online fee of INR 1000/-

Candidates who wish to apply for Jesus & Mary College, via DU Admission 2020, which may specifically refer to the following points.
Step 1: Visit the official website of Jesus & Mary College
Step 2: Check the cut-off list and register for the suitable course
Step 3: View your applied courses in your dashboard
Step4: Proceed with your suitable choice by clicking the ‘Apply for Admission’ button
Step 5: Upload all the scanned versions of the original testimonials in PDF mode
Step 6: Wait for college to grant you a roll number
Step 7: Upon receiving the roll number, your status will be showing as ‘Pending’
Step 8: Deposit your fees to confirm the seat

Mr. Rajeev Gupta also said that the University had been trying to shift towards an online admission interface for previous years. In 2019, DU conducted its entrance examination online. In accordance with this initiative, with added urgency due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic situation, the current rules of DU Admission 2020 are to be strictly followed, he added.
Echoing the same instructions as laid by Mr. Gupta, DU Dean of Admission Shobha Bagai also emphasized that students can get their queries answered online as the grievance cell of individual colleges is kept online.
All the colleges, along with University will be addressing all grievances, queries, and calls via online mode or over the phone.
