New Delhi: Delhi University, School of Open Learning (DU SOL) has launched six new job oriented courses including MBA, BBA in Financial Investment Analysis, BMS, BA (Honors) economics, Bachelor of Library and Information Sciences (BLISc), and MLISc.
As per Delhi University, these new courses will be offered by the School of Open Learning (SoL) with an aim to provide job-oriented programs to students. The admission process for the same is expected to start soon on the official website of the university at sol.du.ac.in.
Informing about the initiative, DU Vice Chancellor Yogesh Singh said, “We are launching six new courses in SOL, which are MBA, BBA (Financial Investment Analysis), BMS, BA (Hons), Bachelor of Library and Information Sciences, Masters of Library and Information Sciences,"
Interested candidates who have completed the class 12th or graduation degree from required stream will be able to apply for these courses under DU SOL Admissions 2022 process through the official university website at sol.du.ac.in, he further added.
Director of DU COL, Payal Mago said, “These are very important courses–BBA, MBA, which is a very prestigious course of DU, Bachelor of Management Studies. There are management courses and job-oriented courses which will be offered to students by DU SOL”.
There will be no entrance exam for any of these courses and selection of applicants for admission seats will be done based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination. The admission window will be open for all candidates who meet the required eligibility criteria.
The new DU SOL Courses 2022 have been launched for students after receiving the due approval from the Distance Education Bureau and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). For more details about the courses, interested candidates can visit sol.du.ac.in.
In addition to this, Delhi University has launched a DU Center for Disabilities Studies to offer better education opportunities to students with disabilities. The center will aim to offer better opportunities and several courses to students related to computers and skill enhancement.
Talking about the center, Bipin Kumar Tiwari, Equal Opportunity Cell, DU said, “Delhi University is starting a center for disabilities studies under which several courses will be started. The focus of the center will be to make education and administration more inclusive".
