Delhi University declared the Undergraduate courses result on October 27, 2020. A final year B.Com Honours student of Aryabhatta College was astounded to see that he was marked absent in one of the subjects.

Mishra tried reaching the DU exam authorities several times. However, even after 20 days he hasn't received any clarification from Delhi University.

Misha said in a statement, "I have been repeatedly trying to reach out the nodal officer through email and phone calls. The officer told me that there has been some technical glitch because of which they have not been able to receive the complaints mailed to them."

He also said that he cleared the DU LLB entrance exam and has been asked to update the marks.

Apart from Mishra, several other students also reported discrepancies in the DU OBE result 2020. Several students are still waiting for the result. 

Several have applied for re-evaluation after being marked zero or receiving marks less than their expectations. 

The Deputy Registrar of DU has advised these students to re-appear for the exam which they wish to be re-evaluated.

DU Provides Provisional Admission Facility

DU has permitted provisional admission for the students who have yet not received the qualifying examination results. Such students will be provided provisional admission but final admission will be given after receiving the result. 

This however will not help the students like Mishra who have received the result with a huge error and are left in difficult situations where they can't proceed ahead for further education.

The admission process for Delhi University Post graduate courses will commence from November 18, 2020.

DU Asks Re-Evaluation Students to Write Exams Again

Not only DU OBE Results reflected discrepancies, students who appeared for exams before COVID-19 also reported that their results have several errors.

These students applied for re-evaluation for which they even paid the re-evaluation fee. But DU told them to write the exams again in December.

Like Mishra. A final year Economics Honours student Lavanya Batra of Kamla Nehru College (KNC) was also marked absent in her third semester paper for which she appeared a year ago.

She later applied for re-evaluation. But to her surprise, after 5 months she received a mail from DU's deputy registrar of examination, asking her to appear for the paper in December cycle as the re-evaluation process is taking longer than expected due to unavoidable circumstances.

Another KNC student. Vritika Choudhary also got zero in her third semester examination. She also applied for re-evaluation in 2 subjects.

She further said in a statement that she lost INR 2,000 and has also paid the examination fee for next cycle.
