Delhi University begins Admission 2020 procedure for UG, PG and PhD courses from June 20, and to achieve contactless Admission for the upcoming session in this extraordinary time, it has decided to conduct virtual open sessions regarding the admission and counselling assistance.
Open sessions will be held at different DU affiliated colleges to clear all the doubts and to clarify the detailed admission procedure to the students as well to their parents.
Talking on this matter, Rajiv Gupta, Dean Student Welfare(DSW), DU has said that due to the uncertain circumstances caused due to the pandemic Delhi University has taken this step to provide virtual guidance to help the students who are looking for admission in DU.
Adding to this he also said that the arrangements will be made to organise online workshops and webinars where faculty members will engage with the students to clear their queries.

According to the latest update, the timeline for the virtual assistance will be set only after CBSE declares Class XII result.
Admission Criterias:
DU will not be conducting trials for Sports and ECA(Extra-Curricular Activity) categories for Admission for the UG courses this year, instead candidates will be required to submit their certificates.
Students seeking admission to Music courses will have to upload their performances in the online platform Youtube, as a part of their Entrance Test.
Candidates will be selected based on the Youtube video and an online interview.
Each year thousands of students visit DU campus to attend the open sessions regarding the admission process and submit their applications, but this year students have to apply through online medium only to maintain contactless admission process.
