The Central Board of Secondary Education has declared CBSE class 10 results on July 15, 2020. In a hurry to announce the result, the board has mistakenly mentioned incorrect Date of Birth (DOB)in the students mark sheets

Some students have been marked as born in 2020, while in some mark sheets the DOB is mentioned as December 1, 2020. The CBSE class 10 result has been delayed for more than a month this year, due to the pandemic outbreak.

While there are some students who also reported that their date and month is correctly mentioned in the CBSE Class 10 mark sheet, but the year has been marked wrong. There are also cases with wrong dates and months.

This year, the CBSE class 10 mark sheets are also uploaded on DigiLocker. The DOB mentioned in class 10 mark sheet is treated as a bonafide document for date of birth.

What makes it worse is that CBSE has often reiterated that the DOB once published will not be changed.

The CBSE class 10 admit cards were free from such errors. But the mark sheets downloaded from DigiLocker and the official website cbseresults.nic.in shows error.

As the students facing such issues are advised to report it to CBSE. It seems to be a technical glitch and probably the board can rectify the error and make necessary corrections.
