The Indian Institute of Management, Indore has launched the official website of Common Admission Test (CAT) 2020 i.e. iim.ac.in. The official website of CAT has been made live on July 29, 2020 (Wednesday). 

IIM Indore, the coordinating institute of CAT will conduct the CAT 2020 examination on November 29, 2020, in two sessions across 156 cities in the country. 

The CAT 2020 website contains all the information related to the registration process, eligibility criteria, exam schedule, exam centers, etc. The CAT exam is conducted to secure admission to postgraduate management courses/programs offered at 20 IIMs across the country.

CAT 2020 Registration Process and Fee

The CAT 2020 Registration  will begin from August 5, 2020, in the online mode from 10 am onwards and the application process will continue till September 16, 2020 (5 pm), so the applicants will have more than a month to fill and submit the application forms before the last date. 

The Application Fee  for General Category candidates is INR 2000 and those belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories will have to pay INR 1000. Candidates aspiring to appear in the management entrance examination will need to first register and submit their application forms through the official website. The Fee can be paid online using Debit/Credit Card or Digital Payment Modes.

CAT 2020 Exam Centers

The CAT 2020 exam will be held in 156 cities at more than 375 centers across India. Students will have the option to opt for 3 test centers in order of preference while filling the CAT 2020 Application form. However, the exam conducting authorities will determine the slot that the aspirants are allotted for the entrance examination.

CAT 2020 Exam Pattern

As per the notification released by IIM Indore, there is no change in the  CAT Exam Pattern  this year. The exam will be conducted in Online mode i.e. computer-based mode in two slots. A total of 100 questions will be asked to be attempted in a duration of 180 minutes (60 minutes per section). There will be three sections- Quantitative Ability, Verbal and Reading Comprehension, and Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning. Candidates must note that they will not be allowed to switch from one section to another while responding to the questions in each section.
