Anna University and Madras University will be declaring the final semester results next week. Other Autonomous colleges like Loyola College and Madras Christian College were about to release the final semester results before October 14, 2020.
Anna University conducts final semester examination for final year students from September 24 – 29, 2020. The examination was conducted in a semi-automated mode.
Of the registered students, over 93% of them have successfully completed the test. Over 10,000 students faced technical issues and 17,000 students were absent for the examination.

A university official has mentioned that the university has sought permission from the government to conduct supplementary tests for the students who faced technical issues and for absentees.
He also stated that the supplementary test will be held next week and the results will be announced immediately after the test.
An official statement from Madras University stated that they are in the final stage of evolution and the results will be released next week.
Madras University conducted final semester examinations from September 21 – 30, 2020 and around 60,000 students attended the examination.
The question paper was downloaded from the website and students wrote the examination in pen and paper mode. After completing the examination, few students uploaded the answer sheet, and the rest of the students sent it through the post.
Other colleges in the city like Loyola College, Madras Christian College, and Guru Nanak College have also conducted final semester examinations and completed evaluations.
The principal of Loyola College, Thomas Amirtham announced that they will be declaring the final semester results by October 14, 2020.
The admission process for Postgraduate students was also going on and colleges were offered provisional admission for PG students. Paul Wilson, Principal of Madras Christian College stated that they are providing provisional admission and receiving good responses despite the delay in admission.
