Media Design sits alongside the design majors Industrial Design and Culture+Context Design within the School of Design and can be combined with other disciplines, such as Film, Media Studies, Computer Science or Music, in the form of a minor subject. A BDI in Media Design can be undertaken with a specialisation in 3D Design and Animation, Computer Graphics, Game Design, Interactive Design and Video Design through selection of the appropriate courses.

You?ll spend most of your class time in studios working on design solutions to real-world problems. Brainstorm and build concepts, and craft projects while developing new software skills.
Guided by experienced lecturers and tutors, you?ll be encouraged to experiment, innovate, research and collaborate?and to dig deeper to examine how your work fits into different aspects of culture and society.
