A Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Mechanical Engineering introduces you to the field’s fundamentals: engineering sciences, design teaching, and aspects of professional engineering.
There is a strong emphasis on design and project work, so students can apply their theoretical knowledge to develop new products within team environments.
Core topics include Dynamics and control, Engineering design, Manufacturing systems, Mechanics of materials and Thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics.

Academic Eligibility:

Students must have passed 12 years of schooling and an overall average of
- 80% in the All-India Senior School Certificate (AISSC) and Indian School Certificate (ISC) with a minimum of 70 percent in English
- 75 percent in the Karnataka, Maharashtra, and West Bengal State Board Examinations with a minimum of 70 percent in English
- 80 percent in all other Higher Secondary State Board Examinations with a minimum of 75 percent in English
Subjects required: Mathematics and Physics with an average of 85% in both.
Proof of English proficiency may be required for international applicants, whose first language is not English.
Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL to get admission to this program.
Submission of SAT and ACT exam scores are not mandatory in New Zealand Universities.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Students required to passed Class 12th with a percentage of 70-72% (Major), 78-82% (Honours) from one of the following boards:
- All India School Certificate (CBSE)
- Indian School Certificate (CISCE)
If English is not the students’ first language then they must provide proof of English competency.
