The MSc in Bioengineering provides ?students the opportunity to be involved in exciting new developments in biomedical engineering ranging from developing new materials for use in cardiac care, or designing innovative next generation medical devices to artificially growing new tissue to replace organ transplantation.
The MSc in Bioengineering is designed to provide engineers and scientists with the education, training and creative skills needed to practice and focus on important clinical needs in the medical devices industry, or research and clinical institutes. Students of the MSc in Bioengineering in Trinity College Dublin take lectures from experts in a variety of biomedical engineering subjects and carry out research in world class, state of the art research laboratories and facilities. This MSc programme also provides an excellent foundation for further research and many graduates are currently pursuing Ph.D. research in diverse fields of biomedical engineering in universities in Ireland and around the world.
