This Nursing? programme from Trinity College Dublin?aims to provide those who wish to apply for senior positions with the skills necessary for advancing knowledge, initiating and encouraging innovation, and leading and developing nursing thus enabling them to achieve their highest potential in both their academic and professional lives.
This fulltime taught M.Sc. in Nursing is a one year theory programme comprising of six modules and a dissertation. Lectures usually start in mid- September each year and the course runs for one calendar year.
Small classes facilitate the opportunity for students to engage in interactive lectures, discussions and debate. Focusing on the development of critical analysis, reflection, research and presentation skills helps students advance their knowledge of practice and research applied to their area of nursing.?
Students form small study groups to provide mutual peer support and arenas for discussion and debate. Students can attend our annual interdisciplinary research conference, regular research days, seminars, data analysis clinics and learn about the latest research and practice developments from international and national experts.
