• The Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science and Department of Computer Science jointly offer a postgraduate curriculum leading to the degree of Master of Data Science, with two study modes: full-time mode with one and a half academic years and part-time mode with two and a half academic years. 
  • The curriculum is designed to provide graduates with training in the principles and practice of data science. 
  • Candidates should have knowledge of calculus and algebra, computer programming, and introductory statistics and should have taken at least one university or post-secondary certificate course in each of these three subjects or related areas.
