The Building and Environment M.Sc. is offered as a full-time course and is modularized. The standard period of study is 3 semesters. The course is held in German in seminars, laboratories and in the form of interdisciplinary project work.

Bachelor's degree in one of the following courses: Civil engineering with a focus on construction, transport or hydraulic engineering, infrastructure management, environmental engineering, engineering with a focus on biology, chemistry or a related course (e.g. also civil engineering or process engineering) with a performance of at least 210 ECTS -points, as well as an average grade of at least 2.5 in the bachelor's or diploma (ECTS - Grade AC) and a relevant engineering internship of at least 12 weeks duration or equivalent performance, in each case from the fields of civil engineering or environmental technology.
