• MSc in Mechanical Engineering at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences is a 2-year (4 semesters) program.
  • The program starts in the winter semester/summer semester.
  • It is an on-campus program offered on a full-time basis.
  • The program deepens and expands knowledge and skills in the analysis, design, simulation, optimization and construction of technical systems.
  • In addition to the classic lectures and exercises, the program also includes application-oriented forms of learning, including a practical mechanical engineering tutorial and industry-related advanced design projects, through which students can gain initial experience in basic and applied research.
  • In the project area, it is also possible to choose the option of twelve-week external project work in industry and thus to apply the theoretical knowledge to the professional world while still studying.
  • Due to the great freedom of choice in the Master's degree, students decide for themselves whether they would like to receive a broad education in general mechanical engineering or choose one of the following specializations offered:
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Sustainable Use of Resources
    • Clean Energy and Process Engineering
    • Future Automotive Systems
    • Digital Based Production and Robotics
