In the first semester, in-depth courses on analytical measurement technology in organic, inorganic and physical chemistry as well as on modern dosage forms are offered.
Two of the four compulsory elective modules (see curriculum) must be chosen:
- Selected chapters of pharmaceutical/chemical technology
- Combinatorial organic chemistry
- Inorganic materials science
- Modern spectroscopic methods
