The degree programme Biotechnologie (Master of Science) is supported by the Faculty of Chemistry and  Biotechnology of FH Aachen as one of the strongest research universities of applied sciences in Germany and several external cooperation partners such as the Fraunhofer Institute for Molecular Biology and Applied Ecology (IME) and the Forschungszentrum Jülich (FZJ). Due to its cross-institutional structure, the objective of interdisciplinary and cross-faculty learning, teaching and research is met.
