- The study of art/art education is characterized by close integration of theory and practice. After introductory basic courses, the individual studio, workshop and laboratory work is accompanied by corrective events. In addition, there is an examination of current and historical art. In the subject didactics, the knowledge gained is related to the school and non-school professional fields.
- Excursions are an important part of the course. Journeys to the major museums in Paris, London, New York, Copenhagen, Rome, Venice and Vienna are regularly offered to enable students to deal with originals.
- The course is organized in stages. It starts with a bachelor's degree in "Education, Upbringing and Teaching". Subsequently, the master's degree course "Teaching qualification at secondary and secondary schools" can be completed, for which a new application is required.
