- The study of art/art education is characterized by close integration of theory and practice. After introductory basic courses, the individual studio, workshop and laboratory work is accompanied by corrective events. In addition, there is an examination of current and historical art.
- In the subject didactics, the knowledge gained is related to the school and non-school professional fields. Excursions are an important part of the course. Trips to the major museums in Paris, London, New York, Copenhagen, Rome, Venice, and Vienna enable students to examine the originals.
- The course is organized in stages. It starts with the bachelor's program "Education, Upbringing and Teaching". There are two subjects to study in the valid combinations of subjects. Afterwards, the master's program "Teaching position at primary schools" can be completed, for which a new application is required.
