• The heart of the degree program is the internship model organisms in the first semester. In this lab, students are familiarized with biomedical models and model organisms (tissue engineering, mouse models, fish, Drosophila, Candida, nematodes, and various parasites). 
  • This will be accompanied by in-depth specialized lectures on medically relevant areas of life sciences such as neurobiology, cardiovascular biology, molecular and clinical oncology as well as stem cell biology and regenerative medicine. This is supplemented by freely selectable basic and clinical lectures.
