The following are the requirements for this program:

• Students require a bachelor's degree in medical informatics or a comparable subject such as bioinformatics, computational biology or computer science or have a comparable, at least six-semester university degree and have passed the university degree with a grade of at least 2.5 
• Demonstrates sufficient English language skills at a level of at least B2
• The courses take place mostly in English and partly in German. It is assumed that students have German (GER B2-C1 (Testdaf4444 or DSH2)) and English (GER B2) language skills. The compulsory courses and part of the elective modules are offered in English. The Master's degree can also be obtained through the parts of the study program offered in English.
