The mechatronics course is therefore designed to be interdisciplinary. It combines the areas of knowledge of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and information technology. Generalists are trained who are able to master complex technological processes holistically. Consequently, the course is jointly carried out by the faculties of mechanical engineering and computer science, electrical engineering and information technology.
