In German studies, the focus is on linguistic and literary research topics. The course is divided into three areas: Linguistics, Medieval Studies and Modern German Literature (NDL).Linguistics deals with the structure of the German language. This includes the phonetic and written system, the sentence structure and the level of meaning. In particular, the ability to analyze concrete language material (sentences, texts, utterances) is conveyed.
