Academic Eligibility:
- Students must have a first professional qualification in a degree in computational science and engineering, electrical engineering, information technology, mechanical engineering, physics, with at least 180 credit points or another equivalent qualification:
- with at least 85% of the CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) or with another grading system with a comparable grade or Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) with at least 500 points.
- ?Solid basic knowledge of mathematics: good knowledge of linear algebra, integral calculus, vector calculus, etc. are required. Knowledge of numerics and stochastics is desirable.
- Solid basic skills in a modern programming language, e.g. C / C ++, Fortran, Java, Python are required.
- Solid basic knowledge of computer architecture, operating systems, and computer networks is desirable. Evidence from courses attended in previous studies, certificates from relevant courses or professional experience stated on the resume.
Language Requirement:
- The language of instruction is English, individual modules including module exams in German.
- Studies are possible entirely in English.
- If the mother tongue is not German, a German course is a compulsory part.
- Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Completed a 4-year UG degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
- Or, completed a 3-year UG degree from an accredited institution
