• Master of Science in Computational Science and Engineering at the University of Rostock is a 2-year (4 Semester) program.
  • It is an on-campus program offered on a full-time basis.
  • The program starts in the winter semester and summer semester.
  • The field of study of the program is Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Natural Sciences or physics.
  • The three areas of specialization are offered:
    • Computational Electrical Engineering
    • Computational Mechanical Engineering
    • Computational Physics
  • Computational Science and Engineering is a new, rapidly growing subject, based on the two classic disciplines of applied mathematics and computer science.
  • The program is consists of 120 credits points.
  • The aim of the English-language research-oriented course is to acquire skills for performing computer simulations of technical and natural systems from physics, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering on the basis of a sound knowledge of numerical methods.
