Business informatics deals with the possibilities of new, innovative technologies in business and public administration. The focus is on in-house information systems and inter-company and inter-company systems. Business informatics looks at information systems from a holistic perspective, i. i.e., business models, processes and procedures, technologies and application systems and, above all, the people using these processes and systems. The cognition goals relate to all questions of recognizing new potential through innovative technologies.
