English Studies at the University of Regensburg covers the entire range of literature and cultures in Great Britain, Ireland and the English-speaking world (with the exception of North America) from the Middle Ages to the present day. She deals with both textual and visual, material, performative and virtual representations and interpretations of the cultures dealt within them, and above all with the methods of literary and cultural studies, linguistics, media studies, and gender studies.
