• The subject of Fashion-Textile-Design-Studies is a share subject within the two-subject Bachelor's degree program of the Faculty of Cultural Studies. Fashion, textiles and design have always been important means of expression all over the world to express our perception, thinking and acting. In the subject of Fashion Textile Design Studies, we deal with the question of how clothing, textiles, and fashion influence our lives.
  • In cultural studies, students acquire theories and methods to examine, analyze and interpret clothing and textiles from different epochs as material objects and in media (e.g. on photographs or in texts) in their social and cultural contexts. 
  • The mediation section explains how knowledge about clothing and textiles can be creative, Diverse and contemporary can be implemented and disseminated - whether artistically, journalistically or scientifically.
