The task of business education is to systematically research processes and conditions as well as funding opportunities for professional teaching, learning and development at various learning and working locations across the lifespan. The research results should serve to make these teaching, learning and development processes efficient and effective, especially about changing job requirements and new professional activity patterns. This is intended to achieve three objectives for vocational education and training:

  • The development of individual professional regulation skills - from an individual user perspective and the central aspect of personal autonomy;
  • securing the human resources of society;
  • ensuring social participation and equal opportunities.
