• The BA major in Greek Studies realizes the model of an integrated Greek, which deals with the Greek literature of antiquity, the Byzantine period and modern times. The course begins with the teaching of basic language skills or builds on them (depending on previous knowledge), and aims at a comprehensive knowledge of literary texts of the epochs mentioned. 
  • In addition to imparting general skills in information acquisition and research, in particular through databases, the course offers the methodological skills required for the entire field of Greek studies based on subject areas in the history of literature. The training is supplemented by cultural history and media studies in the compulsory area.
