- Computational linguistics is the study of machine processing natural languages. Computational linguistics is an interdisciplinary science that is characterized on the one hand by an abundance of current applications in the field of language technology, information search and data mining, and on the other by close content and methodological connections to traditional subjects such as linguistics, computer science, logic and phonetics.
- The aim of the course is to offer training close to the modern professional profile of the computational linguist, which at the same time also conveys an understanding of the interdisciplinary role and the resulting research questions.
