Sociology, which is also in the same department as anthropology in Konstanz, is concerned with the structures of human beings living together in a society. It examines the principles and processes that shape a society, provides cohesion or drive it apart. Sociology is equally interested in migrants and brokers, the labor market and consumer behavior, the media and educational institutions.
