• This bachelor's program is designed to convey a solid understanding of the cultures of classical antiquity and their reception. The interdisciplinary courses stretch from literary studies (Greek/Latin) via history to archaeology.
  • The unique aspect of this study programme lies in its transcendence of traditional academic boundaries by linking historical findings (literary texts, physical legacies) and how they were perceived in the course of the centuries. Including the "Ancient Near East" extends the concept of "Classical Antiquity".
