The two-subject master’s course with the profile of teaching at grammar schools is aimed at students who, after completing a bachelor’s degree and a two-subject master’s degree, aim to become a teacher in lower secondary education at secondary schools and community schools.

In literary and cultural studies, the master’s degree enables students to meet challenges in this research area in a differentiated, reflexive and analytical manner. This means: Students will acquire in-depth technical and methodological knowledge with regard to the comparative analysis of texts, taking into account media-specific forms of representation (comparative literature) and with regard to the critical-reflective character of literature (cultural analysis).
