• The course begins in the winter semester and there are no admission restrictions. For optimal preparation, participation in the preparatory math course is recommended. The teaching content of the bachelor's degree is based on the subject classification of physics.
  • These include mechanics, electro- and thermodynamics, atomic and molecular physics, nuclear and elementary particle physics, laboratory astrophysics and quantum mechanics.
  • At the same time, students acquire mathematical skills that are indispensable for dealing with physics. As good knowledge of English as possible will facilitate the handling of specialist literature. The majority of bachelors then take up a master's degree. The job prospects in industry, economy and research are attractive and overall not very sensitive to the economic cycle.
