Students in all three specializations acquire key methodical skills (research methods, evaluation, and diagnostics) in the core courses. These modules go beyond what students learned in their first-degree programs and include techniques such as systematic analysis, integration, and the evaluation of scholarly literature. Students will be able to independently develop and use diagnostic instruments and hypothesis-testing procedures as well as to formulate psychological assessments. In addition, an internship module is required in which students are introduced to professional and research contexts in which psychology is practiced.
